Everest Base Camp Trek one of the most popular and legendary trek in the world. The trek is fulfilled by natural beauty, dramatic landscapes, high mountains, green valley, and green alpine woodland. The most impressive Sherpa village including culture and interesting monasteries to visit. Mount Everest Base Camp Trek a great combination of the excellent scenery in the harmony of local Sherpa culture and with an adventure walking along the beautiful valley. On the way, we can see constant views of high peaks including the monastery, Khumbu glacier, Hillary Bridge, Hillary viewpoint, Khumbu icefall, Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Amadablam and stunning Pumori at close distance.

EBC Trek begins from the capital at Kathmandu with a short exciting flight to land at Lukla small airstrip. Then walking along with villages, crossing bridges over Dudh Kosi glacial river entering into the nice cool coniferous forest and being within Sagarmatha National Park. The National park listed in world heritage sites since 1979 protecting its beautiful flora and fauna including its pristine environment. Walking past several interesting villages adorned with Buddhist prayer monuments along the trail and entering into famed Namche Bazaar an interesting large village. The hub of Khumbu Sherpa where the colorful and busy market takes place once a week on Saturday. An acclimatization day at Namche then heading towards the beautiful spot at Thyangboche and its monastery in the backdrop of high mountains and green vegetation that surrounds this scenic place.

Everest Treks continues towards the main destination and highlights to reach at Everest Base Camp after walking past Pangboche, Dingboche, and Lobuche with last overnight at Gorakshep, at base camp enjoy great views of peaks that stand to tower beside you. After a great moment achieving our goal with the last feat climbing on top Kalapathar at 5,545 m and a sweeping panorama of high giant mountains and then heading downhill to Lukla for the scenic super flight back to Kathmandu with marvelous experience and adventure on Everest base camp trekking.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu with transfer to the hotel.
Day 02: In Kathmandu with a sightseeing tour around places of interest.
Day 03: Flight to Lukla 2,820 m and trek to Phakding 2,657 m – 04 hrs.
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 06 hrs.
Day 05: In Namche for rest to support acclimatization with short hike and excursion.
Day 06: Namche to Thyangboche 3,867 m – 05 hrs.
Day 07: Thyangboche to Dingboche 4,365 m – 05 hrs.
Day 08: Another rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and local hike.

Day 10: Labuche to Everest Base Camp 5,365 m and walk back to Gorakshep 5,180 m – 06 hrs

Day 12: Pangboche to Namche Bazaar – 06 hrs.
Day 13: Namche to Lukla – 06 hrs.
Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel with a free afternoon at leisure.
Day 15: In Kathmandu reserve and contingency day with a free day for own activities.
Day 16: Final departure from Kathmandu homeward bound or to respective destinations.

Detail Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu with transfer to the hotel.
On arrival at Kathmandu international airport get transferred to hotels after received by our guides and staff, at hotel check-in and join in for group briefing regarding treks and other useful information, with welcome dinner.

Day 02: In Kathmandu with a sightseeing tour around places of interest.
Morning departs from the hotel where our city guide will show you around places of interest within Kathmandu, a tour of world heritage sites and back to hotel preparation for the trek to Everest.

Day 03: Flight to Lukla 2,820 m and trek to Phakding 2,657 m – 04 hrs.
Morning fly to Lukla with grand views of Himalayan peaks during 35 mins flight with Everest on reaching at Lukla with time to refresh, then continue walking on a gradual trail with few ups and down past Sherpa village to reach at Phakding for an overnight stay.

Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar 3,440 m – 06 hrs.
The morning starts on the gradual trail following Dudh Kosi River upstream to reach at Monjo and Sagarmatha National Park entrance, from here on river valley within a forested area, then with a climb for few hours to reach at famous Namche Bazaar for two nights stop.

Day 05: In Namche for rest to support acclimatization with short hike and excursion.
Namche a perfect spot and heights for rest days to support acclimatization, where one can take a high up at scenic viewpoint facing Everest-Lhotse-Nuptse-Amadablam and other range of mountains, walking high resting and sleeping helps to acclimatize better before heading highest areas.

Day 06: Trek to Thyangboche 3,867 m – 05 hrs.
From Namche heading up and on winding trail with downhill to a river and then uphill walks for few hours within serene alpine woodland to reach at scenic Thyangboche Monastery, surrounded by series of peaks with views of Everest and Amadablam, an overnight stop at Thyangboche with time visit its monastery of great interest.

Day 07: Trek to Dingboche 4,365 m – 05 hrs.
Morning with grand views of peaks then downhill to a river, after crossing a bridge with a slow climb towards Pangboche village with close views of Amadablam peak, the walk continues to reach a scenic Imjatse Valley where our overnight stops at Dingboche located with views of Amadablam and Island peaks.

Day 08: Another rest day at Dingboche for acclimatization and local hike.
Another lovely and scenic spot for a rest day to get acclimatize where one can take a short hike up at Nagarjuna hilltop, for excellent views of mountains facing Imjatse and Dingboche below, after at leisure and rest marvel the grand views of mountains.

Day 09: Trek to Lobuche 4,890 m – 05 hrs.
From Dingboche with pleasant time heading up above Dingboche and Imjatse valley with scenic views, and then on gentle up as altitude catches taking slowly to reach at Thugla for lunch stop, in this small place, afternoon climb to a ridge of Thugla-La with gradual walk of an hour from here to reach at Lobuche for overnight with views of Nuptse and Lobuche peaks.

Day 10: Trek to Gorakshep 5180m 5,365 m  – 06 hrs.
After Lobuche walk, today takes you to our highlight at Everest base camp, as our route leads with slow uphill and above Khumbu glacier and moraine to reach a flat field at Gorakshep a place with few nice lodges. From Gorakshep continue to walk toward the east to reach Everest base camp, on reaching our target enjoy views of giant peaks with Khumbu Ice-Fall and glaciers, and then walk back to Gorakshep for an overnight stop.

Day 11: Morning climb on top Kalapathar 5,545 m walk to Pangboche 3,900 m- 06 hrs.
Early morning take a hike on the steep uphill to reach on top Kalapathar at above 5,545 m, the highest point of the adventure facing wonderful views of the mountain range with Everest and Pumori at close distance. From here descend to Gorakshep and walk downhill to Lobuche, walking past Thugla with more descend to reach Pheriche valley and its nice settlement as the walk continues on the easy downhill to Pangboche for an overnight stop.

Day 12: Trek to Namche Bazaar – 06 hrs.
From Pangboche retrace the journey with ups to Thyangboche and downhill with an hour up and then on the good winding path to Namche Bazaar for an overnight stop before Lukla.

Day 13: Trek to Lukla – 06 hrs.
Today a long walk to reach our last stop in Khumbu area at Lukla, from Namche on the downhill to a river with a short climb to Monjo and then on a good trail to Phakding village, where few hours walk from here reaches you at Lukla for final overnight stop within Everest and Khumbu area.

Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu and transfer to hotel with a free afternoon at leisure.
Morning as per your flight time transfer to Tenzing-Hillary air terminal in Lukla, boarding in a smaller aircraft for the scenic flight back to Kathmandu and then to your hotel, after a most amazing time on Everest base camp trekking.

Day 15: In Kathmandu reserve and contingency day with a free day for own activities.
We reserve this extra day as a contingency in case of bad weather that might lead to flight delay and cancellation at Lukla, which happens sometimes even in the best season of time If all goes well enjoy this spare day for own individual activities and shopping.

Day 16: Final departure from Kathmandu homeward bound or to respective destinations.
Last day in the land of Himalayan wonders, as per your international flight time depart from the hotel for the airport for your international flight back to home countries or other respective destinations.
